Setur Marinas has added new yacht races to its usual line-up this year. The schedule has become so packed that the summer wasn't enough.

As soon as Setur Marinas Demre cast off its pontoon ropes, it hosted the St. Nicholas Demre 2nd Stage Yacht Races for the first time in collaboration with TAYK and the Göcek Yacht Club. The race, which made its mark on the region with its 700 nautical miles, started in Göcek and ended in Demre. This race has taken its place among the memorable ones for the Setur Marinas Demre team as being the first race sponsored by the marina.

When the southern winds reached the north, the J70 boats were launched at Setur Marinas Kalamış-Fenerbahçe this year, just like every year. The Olympos Regatta, another stage sponsored by Eker, witnessed unforgettable scenes in the Bosphorus. The week full of competition and excitement ended with a spectacular awards ceremony at Kalamış-Fenerbahçe.

This year, Ayvalık broke its silence on racing, and Setur Marinas Ayvalık hosted two different races. The Ayvalık Yacht Race, held for the first time in the Ayvalık Sea, was born from the dream of TEV volunteer Çetin Kent and left unique memories in Ayvalık with the participation of 23 boats. Jozi Zalma, a.k.a Geveze, took the microphone at the awards ceremony. So ended two days of breathtaking moments. Another feature of this race was that the proceeds were transferred to the Ayvalık Vocational Education Scholarship Fund through the Turkish Education Foundation.

Then, the races continued unabated with the J70 Türkiye Tour 4th Leg Olive Harvest Cup. The races, which lasted three days, were sometimes stopped and restarted due to the calm winds in Ayvalık. But the smiles on the faces never faded. Racers and committee members who were familiar with the sea off Ayvalık from last year fully enjoyed the race.

The races that began in summer at Setur Marinas have reached the edge of autumn. The races are over, but the excitement in the hearts continues
