Today, sailing is not just about cruising and reaching destinations. Time spent at marinas is also quite valuable. Setur Marinas creates more space for art at its locations every year with this idea in mind.
The seventh Kaş Jazz Festival, which has already become a tradition, was hosted again by Kaş Marina this year. The festival welcomed hundreds of music lovers from August 29 to 31 under the slogan "From sunrise to sunset.” The festival area, with its unique atmosphere, offered guests a rich experience, featuring concerts as well as nature activities, workshops, and meditation sessions.
Throughout the festival, artists of different styles, but equally powerful took the stage. The evening began with DJ Barthez and continued with a performance by the Mert Pekduraner Group. Bülent Ortaçgil and guest artist Birsen Tezer gave the audience both nostalgic and emotional moments. While Yasak Helva and Gevende drew attention with their energetic and original performances, Serkan Polat Cura Jazz Project and Jam Sessions put an impressive stamp on the festival.
The 7th Kaş Jazz Festival also featured a donation campaign called "One Sapling for Every Ticket". As part of the campaign, 200 saplings were donated to the TEMA Foundation.
Netsel Marmaris Marina hosted a very special event on September 1, World Peace Day, as part of Drama Leaders. Pianist Dengin Ceyhan took the stage with an impressive repertoire, drawing great interest from the people of Marmaris and marina guests.
In his concert, Mr. Ceyhan featured not only classic Turkish folk tunes but also works by female composers. The evening began with familiar pieces such as "Haydar Haydar", "Yemen Türküsü", and "Selvi Boylum Al Yazmalım", and concluded with Atatürk's quote "Peace at home, peace in the world.”
At Setur Marinas this summer, "sea and music" proved to be a perfect pairing once again, leaving guests with unforgettable memories.
